Autumn has arrived and everyday we notice more of the leaves on the trees around the farm changing from green to yellow to red.
For us all at Flourish, this is a celebratory time. Not only do we bask in the great harvests of onions and leeks, cabbages and kale, but also we are finally able to breath a sign of relief that the gruelling pace of summer farm work has drawn to a close.
Our Autumn will be filled with work none the less. The poly tunnels need a good tidy, our crop plans for 2023 needs to be started and the three Massey tractors are in dire need of a service after many hundreds of hours working in the dusty summer heat.
We also have an exciting project to complete. A project that we have been working on behind the scenes for months and months. After a final lick of paint and a visit from our electrician, we will be flinging open the doors of the Flourish Farm Shop!
